Reflection: 2nd Quarter

I thought that the 2nd quarter would be harder than the first but I made a mistake because it was easier and we really enjoyed it. Even though it was slightly hard whats important is that I've enjoyed it learning it with my classmates.
During this quarter, we have learned  many things. The things I've known before have increased on the knowledge of Internet, HTML, Tags and more.Even when I said this quarter was quite easy there was still some challenges I've experienced like what should tag should I put , where should I put the end tag, and when should I put an end tag but I got out of it because if there was a mistake that I made our teacher corrected it for us to learn from our mistakes.

UN Celebration

The world celebrates United Nations day every 24th day of October to honor the organization promoting human rights, social progress, and world peace.  But why do we really celebrate United Nations Day?

This year's theme is "Coming together with those furthest behind to build a world of Universal respect for human rights and dignity". It stresses the criticality  of ensuring that no one is left behind in all efforts to end poverty and to defend the human rights and dignity of people living in poverty.

In addition, United Nations Day in the Philippines is mostly observed in schools or government offices. Traditionally, students and employees dress up in a different national costumes or traditional clothing of different nations. This celebration displays the beauty and differences of the dresses and cultures of every nation but they are celebrating as one  to show unity and world peace.

Finally, the most important thing that we shall remember why we celebrate UN day is diversity. This reminds us about acknowledging and accepting cultural diversity wholeheartedly. United Nations Day is worth-celebrating. We must enjoy UN Day as one and continue to observed world peace.

World Teachers Day

"The right to education means the right to a qualified teachers"-the theme of this year World Teacher's Day.  The theme of this event will remind the global community that the right to education cannot be achieve without a qualified teachers.  In deeper sense, there's no professionals without them.  And professionals are great help in the progress of our global community, therefore "Without teacher, progress in this time will still be on process". 
The world teacher's day commemorates the anniversary of one adaption of the UNESCO Recommendation concerning the Status of Teachers.  These event celebrated annually since 1994.  Millions of teacher celebrates this event.  With this, we can be aware that education is recognized as a key to fundamental rights.  A right that cannot be fulfilled without a qualified teachers.  Education can change the lives of a person. But the shortage of teachers, who will become the instruments of education, is one of the problem of the global community.  Teachers now are not been bothered with this problem, instead they are continuously shaping us to be professionals. In logic, "Teachers are shaping us to be professionals, so that in the near future we can also follow their path and we will also shape the life of the incoming youth" . 

Science Month Celebration

All institutions across the country celebrates different activities that will help students to enhance their knowledge and skills and as well as to improve their abilities in every manner. The National Science Month Celebration is one of the most awaited celebration among the students of every school. 
We all know that science is everywhere. Science is everything that surrounds us. Science has taken us to an entirely new place. This year's theme for the National Science Club Month Celebration is, "Wavefront: Accentuating Potentials, Activating Technological Advancements".  The National Science Club Month is being celebrated every September.  The Philippine Society of Youth Science Clubs (PSYSC), spearheads the conduct of activities that aim to promote Public Understanding of Science, Technology, and Environment
This theme aims to focus on giving importance to discoveries and researches, which is now the cornerstone of human technological advancements that brought significant changes in the world until today, and even upcoming changes in the future.  The theme also assigns to the youth and science clubbers the responsibility or rule of accentuating potentials and activating technological advancements. 

Filipinos are Strong

Our country is facing calamities and disasters every year. We can experience typhoons, floods, fire tsunami and earthquakes  that cause of sadness in our lives. Nevertheless Filipinos are born to stand up and begin with a hope. We can start again to build our houses with a smile.

We are able to help other people although we are suffering from challenges too. We are able to cope up with the traumas we had with the help of our family. The government help us to recover and start all over again. We might lost our houses and other things we have, but we will never stop our lives.

Filipinos are born to be strong and courageous. No matter what disasters or calamities came we are ready to face it. Indeed we are aiming and doing our lives to become successful after the trials. Mostly, we believe that God loves us and He will never fail and leave us and always remember that our almighty God is always on our side and guiding us in everything we do.

Reflection

I have learned many things in ICT 10 in this first grading. One of the things that I learned was the importance of the internet in our lives, the things that are part of the internet and who are the people created various internet things. One of the things I learned also is how to create your own blog account and how to post your blog. Another is all about Search Engines.

In my studies there are problems that come and we cannot avoid. One of the problem I've experienced is the lack of time. As a student we have to do all the requirements that are being made to us so there are times when we cannot do well with our other requirements due to the lack of time. Another is losing self-esteem. There are times when our requirements are difficult, we like to give up immediately.

How did I solve the problems that came into my life? Just believe in yourself that you can do it no matter what. Be strong enough to face those challenges you may encounter. Work hard for what you want and you will achieve the success you're aiming for.  You have to be strong and courageous and know that you can do anything. If somebody puts you down or criticize you, just keep on believing in yourself and turn it into something positive. And the most important is we should ask the guidance of our almighty God in everything we do. Always remember that our God is always in our side and He is always guiding us in our journey. As long as we put our 100% trust in Him, He will never betray us. And most especially, we must trust in God's plan for us and let us put God our first priority in life.

I will do everything I can to imprint on my mind everything I learned in this quarter. I will do my best to share what I have learned with my fellow students so as to increase their knowledge as I do. I am happy because I have learned more about the ICT subject and hopefully on the next mark I will learn more to get more knowledge.

Filipino: Wika ng Saliksik

Una sa lahat ano nga ba ang wika? At ano ang saliksik? Bakit nai-uugnay ang wika sa saliksik? Ang wika ay isa sa napakahalagang aspeto upang maging maunlad ang isang bansa at ito ang siyang sumisimbolo sa ating pagkakakilanlan. Ang wika ay hindi simple tulad ng iniisip ng iba bagkus ito ay komplikado rin kapag wala kang sapat na karunungan patungkol dito kung kaya'y kailangan din nating magsaliksik tungkol dito upang maging dalubhasa at mabigyan ng hustisya ang paggamit nito.

Napakahalaga ang Wikang Filipino sapagkat ito ang sumisimbolo sa ating pagkatao at sa ating kultura. Ito ang nagsisilbing tulay at sinturon upang magkabuklod-buklod tayong mamamayan ng ating bansa. Hindi tayo makakatuklas at makakagamit ng ibang wika hangga't hindi natin tatanggapin ang sarili nating wika. Ang wika ang pinakamabisang paraan upang maipabatid ang mga kaisipan at mapanatili ang kasaysayan at mga tala ng mga sinaunang Pilipino. Napakahalaga ng wikang ito sapagkat ito ang pangunahing instrumento nating Pilipino na maipahayag ang ating damdamin, saloobin, kaisipan, opinyon at iba pa. Wika ang nagsisilbing kaparaanan upang maging isang ganap na tao ang isang tao at maging isang ganap na bansa ang isang bansa.

Gamitin natin ang Wikang Filipino at ipakita sa buong mundo na tayo ang taas noo'ng pinagsisigawan na tayo ay mamamayan ng bansang Pilipinas. Ito ang sumisimbolo sa ating kalayaan sa mga mapang-aping dayuhan na sumakop at umalipin sa ating bansa. Dapat huwag ikahiya ang wikang naging instrumento sa pagkakaroon ng magandang edukasyon at mabisang komunikasyon. Wikang sumisimbolo sa ating pagkatao at pagka-Pilipino. Wikang nagpaunlad sa ating ekonomiya at bansa. Wikang pag-aari natin. Ang wikang pambansa. Ito ang Wikang Filipino.
