Nutrition Month 2018

July is the month of Nutrition. Schools, Municipalities and other groups are expected to gather activities to promote the importance of healthy foods. This month theme "Ugaliing Magtanim, Sapat Na Nutrisyon Aanihin" aims to improve the healthy food composition of Filipinos.

This is imposing to be self sufficient as possible with backyard gardening. Having food gardens can help improve the family to sustained the food they need in their daily life

Every person can plant a single crop and double to produce more plants when we have the eagerness and passion to help our families and specially our Mother Earth. It is simple yet very resourceful and helpful. Together we can make a change to our self and others to be able to create a healthy lifestyle.

The Freedom of Philippines

How much do you know about Philippine Independence Day? Is it really important for us to celebrate Independence Day? How does Filipino celebrate Independence Day? What does Independence Day symbolize?

Celebrating the 12th day of June is one of the best month of June. The reason why June 12 is so special is because it's Independence Day. But did you know that June 12 wasn't our original Independence Day? It used to be July . The Independence Day is a national holiday so there are absolutely no classes in all schools.

Independence Day is also known as the "Day of Freedom" or "Araw ng Kalayaan". We celebrate it annually on 12th day of June but there are a couple of things that even Filipinos may have forgotten regarding this date. The celebration of the Independence Day is a way to remember all the sacrifices of our heroes. To respect them on what they have done. And to do that, we should maintain the freedom of our country.
